Cedarville State Forest is one of Southern Maryland’s premier horseback riding destinations, offering more than 19 miles of shared-use trails through scenic pine forests and historic landscapes. The forest comprises 3,707 acres and is located in Prince George’s County – Southern Maryland. Hours of Operation: Open daily – sunrise to sunset. The Day-use admission fee is $3 per vehicle for Maryland residents and $5 per vehicle for out-of-state residents.
Hunting is permitted, when riding Cedarville horse trails located in designated hunting areas, wear bright orange for safety purposes. Visit Maryland DNR Hunter’s Guide for their hunting season calendar.
