Patuxent River State Park offers 9.4+ miles of blazed shared-use trails.  The forest comprises  6,700 acres and is located in Howard & Montgomery Counties – Central Maryland.   Hours of Operation:  Open daily – 9 AM to sunset.  There is no fee for horse trailers.

There are two (2) areas with blazed trails; the Central Area located in Howard County also known as Annapolis Rock and the Southern Area located in Montgomery County near Route 97.
