Thank you to Marty & Maisa for making your first 2024 Equestrian overnight weekend vacation here at Applecrest Farm to trail ride and stay over night with your horses this week. I very much enjoyed showing you around Horseshoe Bend Park, Jacobsburg Park, Nockomixon Park and BCHP. Looking forward to your return stay in June 2024. Happy Trails!
Just had a fantastic weekend at Applecrest Farm. Wendie is a super hostess. The guest barn and guest room were immaculate, well appointed and spacious. Trail riding in this area is fantastic! The farm is within 5-30 minutes trailering to 12 horse parks, including a canal trail which wanders thru a little town. Trails were well groomed with beautiful scenery, a nice mix of woods, fields, single and double track trails. The creek ride at Jacobsburg is my new favorite ride, think Fair Hill on steroids! Easy to plan a ride for novices to die hard trail riders, from 2 hours to 6 hours, you are covered.
The area is rich in history with stunning old homes and buildings. If you have a non-horsey spouse they could easily entertain themselves while you ride with plenty of shopping, golf, restaurants and hiking trails there is something for everyone.
Did I mention shopping?!? Antique lovers dream come true, along with first class second hand and specialty shops.
Looking forward to our return trip in a few weeks.
